Senior Army Instructor (SAI) - Major (RET) Blackburn

Major (RET) Michael J. Blackburn was assigned to this HSROTC Program August 1997. He transferred to Hug after years at Incline High School as the SAI for that program. He serves as the LET III and IV instructor. He also serves as the Rife Team coach, Biathlon coach, and Regiment and Battalion Staff Advisor. His last duty assignment prior to retirement from active duty was as the Senior Army Representative at the Combined Services Support Program School Pacific at the Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda, California. He served in numerous command and staff positions throughout his 20 years of commissioned service. Various and sundry awards and decorations include the Ranger and Airborne badges, the Expert Infantryman's badge, and five Meritorious Service medals.


Army Instructor (AI) - Command Sergeant Major (RET) Albin

Command Sergeant Major ( RET) Lee Albin was assigned to Hugh High School in the spring of 2003. He is well liked and respected by his peers, teachers, and students. Currently serves as the principle instructor for the LET-I's and advises 1st Battalion Alpha and Charlie Company and 2nd Battalion Delta Company. He is also serves as the Color Guard Advisor. His last duty assignment prior to retirement was as the Command Sergeant Major for the Nevada Army National Guard. He served 26 years of honorable service and has recieved a Legion of Merit and six Meritorious Service Medals.


Army Instructor (AI) - Master Sergeant (RET) Beach

Master Sergeant (RET) Edger Beach was assigned to Hug HSROTC in the fall of 2007. He services as the LET-II instructor and advises 2nd Battalion Alpha and Charlie Company. His additional duties include Assistant Rifle Team coach and Supply Advisor, all of which have showen dramatic improvements since his assignment to these positions. MSG Beach last duty assignment was at UNR. He Served 22 years of honorable service and his decorations include six Meritorious Service Medals and seven Army Commendation Medals.


Army Instructor (AI) - Sergeant First Class (RET) Claymore

Sergeant First Class (RET) Leenore Claymore was assigned to Hug in the fall of 2008 after eight years at various assignments in WCSD. She is a Hug H.S. graduate and a product of the Hug JROTC program. She is a LET-I instructor and advises 1st Battalion Bravo and Delta Company and 2nd Battalion Bravo Company. She is also the Drill Team and Honor Guard advisor. Her last duty assignment was in Mannheim, Germany where she was a platoon leader with the 68th Transportation Company that had recently returned from Bosnia as a part of Operation Joint Endeavor/Guard. She served 18 years and her awards include the Meritorious Service Medals, four Army Commendation Medals, and the Drill Sergeant Badge.
