We Are Soaring to New Heights
Welcome everyone to the Hug Hawks' Regiment website. We have a wide variety of resources and information about the JROTC program and the Hawk's Regiment.
As we begin the school year of 2009-2010, the Hug Hawks has received a numerous amount of new cadets enlisting and previous cadets returning. As the head of the Hug Hawks JROTC program, Senior Army Instructor Major Blackburn has declared the "Hawk's Regiment" for the first time in Hug High School history. Leaders such as C/LTC Mauricio Hernandez, C/MAJ Ivonne Vasquez, and C/CSM Jennielyn Beltejar are eager to embark into a new chapter of the Hawks Battalion and write their stories of how the Hawk's Regiment soars above the rest. In addition, we have the very dedicated and distinguished Instructors in the district. Senior Army Instructor MAJ (Ret) Blackburn, alongside with three honorable and highly talented Army Instructors; CSM (Ret) Albin, SFC (Ret) Claymore, and MSG (Ret) Beach are determined to guide the Regiment to a prolific JROTC year. Amidst of an abundant group of talented cadets striving for success, there is no limits to how far the Hug High School Hawk's Regiment can aspire for this year and the coming years ahead of them.
